No Internet. No blog posts. Sorry, ya'll. I'm actually sitting in a church parking lot right now using the Wi-Fi; Parker and Stockton are just hanging out in the back of the car. Stockton's sleeping. Hopefully Parker will follow his example soon. But from the way he's talking about his Cars coloring book and talking about how "Me-me [Mater] knocked tractor down" I don't think he's going to. Anyway, we'll get Internet at our house sometime in the near future.

So! The only thing I can do now is bombard you with stories of what we have been up to lately. I'd do pictures too, but the Internet connection isn't strong enough to upload them all in a timely manner. So, I'll keep it short because Stockton is fussing now and I don't think I'll have as much time as I had originally allotted for this update.

Activities at home with two young boys include: reading (a ton of books), playing cars with Parker, watching Parker kiss Stockton or play peek-a-boo with him, playing tag or having dance parties, and whatever else Parker comes up with that day.

Activities for my sake include: having lunch with friends every Tuesday, having what we call a "Friday Forum" with another friend in which we read an article and discuss it, and going to the park for lunch with other friends on Thursdays. Mondays and Wednesdays are set aside for cleaning bathrooms, the kitchen, and vacuuming. I try to stay busy, and with a toddler who wants me to read to him and play "down slide" with his cars, and a 2 1/2 month old who loves to be held and fed every hour (seriously), it keeps me more than busy enough!

But, obviously, I love it. I love having Stockton smile when I pick him up from his crib or when I simply appear in front of his chubby, little face. I love it when Parker purposefully shows off to get me to laugh.

Stockton's 2 month appointment was two weeks ago. The little chunker was a little over 14 pounds and was 24.5 inches long. Whew! That puts him only 9 pounds lighter than his two year old brother. I'm gradually growing the arms of a P90X grad!

That's our life right now. Sorry about the pictures--lack thereof, I mean. When we get Internet at our house, things will be updated more frequently. With pictures.

I must be honest though. I have LOVED the lack of TV and Internet. Sure, it would be nice to be able to stay at home and not run to the church parking lot to write my sister in the MTC or update the blog or whatever. But I've realized that there is so much more to do! That sounds ridiculous, but without Facebook, Pinterest, whatever, life can be quite calm and relaxing. Try it sometime. Even when you think there is nothing to do, don't get on the Internet and see what you actually end up doing. (This sounds like I'm a computer freak--always must be on the Internet. I'm not as bad as that sentence sounds.)
